I have applied for medicine this year and I have offers for medicine. I have firmed a place for medicine and insured for medicine as well. I want to take the ucat again as I want to go to a different university. If I take the ucat this year again would this affect my existing application in which ive firmed and insured. I want to see if my ucat is good enough first to get an interview at that uni before changing on ucas. Does anyone know. And does anyone have an email to contact UCAS and ask. Please let me know.

The offers you had, was it for '24 entry? Mind if I ask which unis you have offers from?

why do you want to go to a different university? what you are proposing is very risky, as you would firstly have to reject both your firm and insurance places, take a gap year and apply for this new university, and there is no guarantee you would get any offers this time round either.

It can be risky as there is no guarantee you will be able to secure a medical offer this round.

You'd have to give up your current offers and apply again next year. This would be a ridiculous and unwise thing to do. Don't gamble with your future.

If you didn't actually want to attend your firm and insurance unis, why did you apply to them?
