Working as an interpreter uk

I’ve recently been looking into working as an Arabic-English interpreter but it low key got messy since my knowledge is limited in this.
I have an alevel arabic qualification ( A* ) and a GCSE arabic (9), But from what i read you cant become an interpreter in healthcare unless you have a uni degree. Other yt vids said you dont need a uni degree.
There was also a mention of CIOL and DPSI qualifications but im not sure what they r.
The main idea is I want to work as a part time remote consecutive interpreter for public services ( community).
Btw Im turning 18 in a couple of days and will get my alevel results for other Alevels ive taken soon in august( might be a proof of my english )
If anyone has any knowledge abt this I really need some help and advice. would really appreciate it.
