Language app help

I want to start learning a language.
What are some good apps or websites that are good for learning languages to become somewhat fluent?
I already know about duolingo.
All I ask is that the majority of it is free and trustworthy.

Hey, I recommend Busuu, it’s mostly free and it has quite a lot of languages on there!

haha the sad thing is that i'm not 100% sure so I sort of want to see the resources I have and go from there. I already have many youtube videos lined up but it was just finding the websites that were tricky. If you have any options abt these languages, please let me know

I want to learn Russian because half of my family is so it would be nice for me to know what they're talking about. But my family isn't very close so it's not like i feel left out, more of a chance to impress them lol

Then I was thinking like something like mandarin is more useful in terms of career opportunities and more people speak that language in general. I do have 2 textbooks that my mum bought from me a couple of years ago so I guess I have more resources when it comes to this. However I am less passionate abt this language and my only motivation is for career purposes and not for the language itself if that makes sense?

Then there was a part of me that wanted to learn korean but thats mainly because of how popular the entertainment industry is, I thought it would be more fun to learn like from music or Netflix . idk I thought this would help my motivation more. idk why but I do find this language prettier compared to the other 2 so it also motivates me.

All 3 of them are extremely hard especially with entirely new characters/alphabets. I learnt French and Spanish when i was in school and although I'm not fluent, I'm not afraid to keep learning stuff because i'm already familiar with bits.

Personally, I feel like Russian, Korean and French are good choices cuz since u have less motivation for Mandarin, it would be harder to continue when the language becomes more advanced ygm....but it's up to u, even French is a very good option as it's a language of international relations - same reasons why u say Mandarin is a good choice. Plus it's very similar to English in terms of vocab and the latin alphabet, and spoken in every continent. I'm studying French but I know a friend who does Russian bc of family... Korean could be a side interest in developing during ur free time as it's popular, but idk how hard the grammar and stuff is. Hopefully this is useful, this is just my opinion yk 🙂
