Hi i have just finished s5 and im going into s6 after summer, im looking to do dentistry but i dont think i did too well in the higher biology exam, presuming i get a C is there any chance of me being accepted. also i am qualified for LEAPS

Hi, if you get a C i dont think theres much of a chance of you being accepted for the 5 year course as most require you to have 4- 5 A's at higher (including 3 sciences) Glasgow is AABB for widening access, but I don't think many people get in with that. I know bristol does a gateway to Dentistry programme, which has much lower entry requirements (BBBBC at Higher) so maybe try that and other programmes.

hi, maybe look into whether the unis you want to apply to will accept resits of the exam? as an A in is very important in dentistry offers, because of how competitive it is many unis require AAAAB in s5
