Hi all,
I firmed my choice for international development at KCL to start this September. I was wondering if you have any advice on staying in the city, accommodation, making friends and London in general as I live quite far from it. London is very far for me considering I live in South Wales and is now having second thoughts as I have not been to London as much before. Please if any one has advice on uni life or London in general, it would be much appreciated :smile:

Hey, I go KCL. Both uni and london are amazing, but I've lived in London all my life so idk if i can give particular advice. All i can say try and find accomodation near a tube station (it will make life slightly easier)

There is so much to do here. The best thing to do is put yourself out there and make friends.

To make friends just attended all the welcome events and talk to people. Everyone there is in the same boat as you and also want to make friends. The more you show up to places the more people will recognise you and the more people that will come up and talk to you.

i got into kcl last year despite getting two grades lower than my offer

omg rlly?? what wass ur predicted grades, im still waiitng for a response (its killing me-hopefully its an offer though) and eventhough it has 100% acceptance Im still freaked out
