Martina Hellman (Germany) still holds the World record from the 1988 Olympics for the women's longest Discus throw- 72.30m

Libby Clegg (Great Britain) still holds the record for 100m Sprint (T11 Class), running with a time of 11.91 whilst being registered blind

Mollie O’Callaghan (Australia) swam the women’s 200-meter freestyle final in 1:53.27, breaking the Olympic record set by Ariarne Titmus at the Tokyo Games in 2021.

Léon Marchand (France) swam the men’s 400-meter individual medley in 4:02.95, beating Michael Phelps’ previous Olympic record from the 2008 Beijing Games.

Gretchen Walsh (United States) clocked 55.37 seconds in the women’s 100-meter butterfly, breaking the record set by Sarah Sjöström at the 2016 Rio Games.

The Australian women’s team (Mollie O’Callaghan, Shayna Jack, Emma McKeon, and Meg Harris) swam the 4x100 freestyle relay in 3:28.92, breaking their own Olympic record from the Tokyo Games in 2021.

Sheng Lihao (China) scored 252 in men’s 10-meter air rifle, beating the previous Olympic record held by William Shaner of the United States from the Tokyo Games in 2021.

Oh Ye Jin (South Korea) achieved 243.2 in women’s 10-meter air pistol, breaking the record set by Vitalina Batsarashkina representing the Russian Olympic Committee in 2021.
