Can I still start my course if I’m pregnant?

Hi there!

Each university has different policies regarding pregnancy. You will need to speak to the university you have an offer from or are looking at going to, and ask what their policy is. You'll have an appointment with Occupational Health, who will assess your risk regarding placement. You may need to swap your placement area or when you go out on placement.

I have studied alongside students who were pregnant in their first year and even some who were pregnant in their second and now our final year!
