Lnat Section A HELP

I just tried a lnat practise test and I got 16 out of 42, it's my 1st try on this. I don't know how to actually get the marks, like I struggle with recognising irony and sarcasm and additionally the passages use such rich vocab and are complicated.

Can anyone give some advice on how to practice lnat? Maybe any recourses that helped you?

Me personally, I use the LNAT Ultimate Collection book and Arbitio. The LNAT book has over 400 questions for the MCQ section and explains each correct answer. It also explains what to look out for and understanding the questions, e.g. what is the difference between a premise, statement, argument, etc. However, I feel this book is slightly easier than what the actual LNAT is like as I am averaging in the mid 30s/42 for this book. Arbitio however is much much much harder. I am averaging a 20/42 but what I feel is key about Arbitio is that its difficulty really preps you well. Their explanations to answers are very detailed so you properly understand what you are doing right or wrong. For vocabulary, try reading news articles from BBC, guardian, etc. While practicing, any words you don't understand, list them down and learn their definitions. For me, Arbitio has been most useful. Its portal simulates the actual LNAT and has overall increased my confidence for studying the LNAT. If you do plan to buy Arbitio, feel free to use the code: "10RUCHI3" for 10% percent off for Arbitio. Their prices just increased so any discounts help . And as a final note, don't be too disheartened about your low score right now. Assuming you take the test in October or after, you have more than 3 months so just practice practice practice until your score improves or you feel confident enough. Good luck for LNAT Prep!

I would definitely practise online and buy a preparatory textbook as said above; it's a difficult test even for those with considerable practice and the admissions officers recognise that it is an eccentric test / not an excellent filter.
