Changing cohort as a student nurse

I am about to start my final year of nursing in September 2024 but I am due a baby January 2025. I am planning on returning to university with my September 2209 cohort and then taking time out to have the baby and re joining with the January 2301 cohort in the April to resume my studies. Has anyone done the same and how did this work with student finance payments/ NHS bursary? Thank you.

Hi there,

So do you mean you wont start the course in September 2024 but will start you final year in April 2025? What is the full name of your course, what university do you attend an was it a 3 year course?
