Laptop for uni and work

Hey yall
Need some reccs for a good laptop for uni (my course is bsc politics philosophy and econ). I plan on going into investment banking or consulting after uni so will def be needing excel and apparently mac is terrible for that so any good windows laptops out there?

I haven't heard anything about Excel on Mac being terrible. I have heard some quite positive opinions about Numbers, the Mac equivalent of it which is free.

But if you don't want a MacBook, go for one of the more high end Windows laptops if you can. From my experience Lenovo laptops have been quite well built, so I'd get one of those, second to a Mac.
