I can't answer you're question but I'm also applying to study law at UCL for 2025 entry! I'm applying to the straight law LLB course. Good luck with your personal statement and your applications!

No worries! Honestly I’m quite nervous for UCL. Generally my stats are good but I have a 5 in maths (extenuating circumstances) so I’m just waiting for contextual requirements to be published to see whether I’d meet them or not. I’m sure you’ll do fine

Hi there,
At least it should have some fundamental elements, in my opinion:
Firstly, what admission tutors look for

1.

Passion and Commitment: A clear and genuine interest in studying law.

2.

Relevant Experience: Academic and extracurricular activities that show your suitability for the program.

3.

Intellectual Curiosity: Evidence of independent learning and critical thinking about legal issues.

4.

Personal Qualities: Traits that indicate you will be a successful student and future lawyer.

5.

Clear Communication: The ability to express your ideas clearly and effectively.

Secondly, to increase your chances

Be Authentic: Write in your own voice and be honest about your experiences and motivations.

Do Your Research: Show that you have researched UCL and its law program, and explain why it is the right fit for you.

Seek Feedback: Ask teachers, mentors, or professionals to review your personal statement and provide feedback.

Start Early: Give yourself plenty of time to write, revise, and perfect your personal statement.

Best of luck!!
