You may be able to find a Pharmacy degree with a foundation year for BCC, but be aware that Chemistry is critical for MPharm Pharmacy - if you are already struggling with Chem, then this may not be the best degree/career for you. And Dentistry with BCC or even ACC is not realistic at all.

so do you think my best option is taking a gap year and applying with the grades that I get at the end of year 13? the poor grades in my mocks have given me so much more motivation to revise so hopefully i can try get AAA at a level. do you think that i am able to increase my C's to A's by the end of December or is that really unrealistic

Best option - work your socks off, get A grades, and apply next year. If you dont get A grades then think of a Plan B.
(And if you are applying for Dentistry, remember that those applications close in October)
I think i've given up on the dentistry course tbh the only problem is my parents are very against gap years. I messed up my mocks and only have myself to blame just unsure what to do but i'll try and see what my teachers do
currently have a predicted C in bio and C in econ but didnt do well in chem so will resit it hopefully to try get a B or A after doing year 12 mocks Do you think i'm able to go into pharmacy or dentistry and what are my other options for the future
Hi, most unis want AAA for dentistry and most likely won’t even look at your application if your grades are any lower. For pharmacy i think the grade boundaries are a little lower (perhaps AAB). I suggest going to universities’ websites and checking the entry requirements for the courses you’re interested in! 🙂
Why not try get your predicted grades up when you get back. Work over thru summer and then when you do resits show that you can get the predicted grades you need. I’m doing this too. If not you can go to head of your Sixthform and ask.
