Can I apply to med with low grades without widening access criteria?

Ive been predicted AAB in my year 12 mocks (music, bio, chem), and while doing my research, I can't seem to find any unis that would accept my grade for medicine without being a part of the widening access criteria, which Im not. My parents are highly against a gap year too. The only uni I can think of is KMM, but what would be my other 4 uni applications? Does this mean that studying medicine is really over for me? Medicine has always been my dream, and any help will be much appreciated

I think Brunel Medical School might be the only other one that accepts AAB. Can you study over the summer and re-take your mocks in September to try to push your prediction up to at least AAA? If you tell your school that you need AAA min, they might be willing to accommodate.

You can pply to those that accept AAB predicted or those that don't look at predicted grades at all, though offer is still likely to be AAA/A*AA, eg Keele. Nottingham, Liverpool, Cardiff, Aston, Oxford - though obviously your chances will depend on GCSEs and UCAT.
Otherwise, do an EPQ and Sheffield and HYMS will offer AAB (though you need the AA in bio and chem).
If none of those work then you need to speak to your teachers about increasing your predictions or your parents about the option of a gap year
