He takes age to reply but I wanna know if he likes me back

I really like this guy. He recently spontaneously admitted that he used to really like me when we were younger and has given me a few hints that he might still be interested. However he takes ages to reply to my texts therefore we never get round to making plans.
I want to ask him how he feels about me but I don’t wanna come across clingy or too persistent as to do so I’ll probably have to ask before he has replied to my last text. Should I wait it out or just yolo and do it now?? It’s driving me insane 🤣

If a guy was really that into you, they would definitely show it - this would mean quick replies and eagerness to pursue more time with you, etc. This does not seem to be the case in your situation unfortunately. This is not the be all and end all though, is the guy in question working loads? Has he got strict parents that don't allow a lot of screen time? Or maybe, does he have cheap wifi? These could all be reasons for the delayed responses.

Personally, I would look elsewhere, you deserve someone that gives you time and full attention.

Life is too short to be waiting around for a "maybe".
