Whats Decision Maths all about?

I'm just curious what it's about. What maths is involved in it? I heard it's easy to do, but it's not in depth at a levels. Pure maths sounds way more interesting, but if dm is easier, I'll probably consider it

fm maths, edexcel – optional. I'm just curious about it because I haven't heard of it before

Really? As I said it was one of three options in modular A level - students had to take two of them. It's a relatively new area of maths which has become more important with computers enabling faster computation. It's the maths behind finding a shorter/faster route [think sat navs, networks of wiring/pipes], You learn various algorithms and applications.

a youtuber called bicen maths pretty much summed it all on his channel; it was a dreadful paper. even for him (he's a teacher but took all edexcel fm modules because he can/wanted to lol)

I'm a teacher too and we offer all modules - my students thought it was OK.

basically, it's not good. chapter 7 is one third of the paper; and that chapter is hell. I mean you can have a look for yourself on videos on the content on youtube, but yeah decision is not nice. "233w341" actually answered to be fair; Ik you said most of the replied but their reply pretty much sums up why this debate came about. check out bicen maths' videos on the subject.
everyone's got strengths, mine is pure; aced both core pure, school chose for me fm1 d1 smh, would've chosen fp1 fp2.
