Need help in getting a high First for 2nd year modules at City Unviersity London

Hi everyone,

I’m currently studying law at City University, London and will be starting my second year in September.

I received my first-year results and achieved an overall 2.1.

Most of my grades were mainly 62% for my 6-hour exams and for my course work, ranging from 62% to 75%, but mainly 68%.

While I’m pleased with these results, I’m aiming to secure a first in my second-year modules. I would like to get above 80% at least one of my modules.

I’m looking for any tips or advice to help me achieve this goal.
Here are the modules I’ll be taking:

First Term:

Mediation
Land Law
EU Law
Trust and Equity Law

Second Term:

Further Criminal Law
Further Tort Law
Company Law
Immigration Law

Any suggestions on study techniques, resources, or general advice would be greatly appreciated!

Furthermore, if anyone has studied these modules, please can you give me an overview of what it was like studying them?
