Uni of Leeds accommodation contracts sent out early?

Maybe I can’t read but in the deadlines section of the website it say ‘If you have an unconditional offer at Leeds (or your offer for Leeds becomes unconditional by 11 July), we will allocate your accommodation and email you between 16 July and 1 August.’

I was sent mine on Friday (12 July) and didn’t realise because it was in my junk folder. Luckily I saw the extension email in my normal inbox and signed the contract this morning (very lucky as I’m getting on an 8 hour flight later). So yeah were they sent out early or do I have no reading comprehension?
