Currys Interview Process

Hi, I applied for a job at currys on Sunday and got a phone call today (Tuesday). They asked me about my availabillity and told me to tell a bit about my self. Then I was asked if I'm willing to a Face-to-face interview. They didn't explain what type of interview this is and just told me to bring some type of ID.

So, if anyone that worked or being there or an interview could provide some advice, that'd be helpful. I have the interview on Friday. Will I get a group interview?

I'm also working at greggs rn but the management I have now there is getting in my head, hence I applied for different type of job. Is it worth leaving Greggs for Currys?

You'll see less people in Curry's than Greggs, so if customer service is something that interests you, stay where you are.
Then again, you say management is a pain, so maybe get out whilst you can, give Curry's a go, and then you can always go back to Greggs (but a different branch).

There's a high likelihood it'll be a group interview, as they'll be looking for your skills and how you get on with a team of people, be sure to take the initiative and lead on tasks.

My interview is today and I’ll probably skip it.
1) Its scorching hot today (30C) and did a morning shift. Think I’m too tired to travel one hour for an interview. And I’ve asked around and not a single person said a good thing about currys.
2)I received some interviews from other places with higher salary. We are also getting a new manager next month so I’m gonna wait and see how things go on.

You'd be stupid to waste it.
Interviews don't come about often for people. You've had the initial pass of having your CV selected for interview.
It's good experience to just do it.

They called me 2 days later. I did the in person interview yesterday and it was a mock customer service call, some general teamwork and personality questions and stuff. Don't know if it's the same for every branch but it's more than a simple talk for the one I did
