Funding after an integrated masters.

Hi!

I've just finished my undergraduate degree in adult nursing. I am considering doing the 4th year starting in September to have an integrated masters degree in both adult and child fields.

After looking at student finance I'm a bit confused if anyone could help?

Although the funding is still provided through undergraduate finance would this mean in the future if I decided to specialise or do a different masters course I wouldn't get funding?

Just to add it's student finance Wales if that makes a difference.

Thank you

Hi misswills89,

If you already hold a Masters degree you generally wouldn't get funding to do another Masters.

Thanks,
Calum
I've moved your thread to the SFW forum. The following is taken from the SFW website:

Your previous study
You cannot get Postgraduate Master’s Finance if:

you’ve already had Postgraduate Master’s Finance or a Postgraduate Master’s Loan
you already have a master’s degree, or a qualification that’s equivalent, such as an integrated master’s degree
you already have a qualification that’s higher than a master’s degree
