Do you need a new reference and personal statement for clearing?
My five choices are all seeming unlikely to be chosen and so I'm wondering if I were to get to clearing, would I need to get another reference and personal statement or would clearing used the original ones for the five choices?

If the clearing course is different to your original choices then they will likely ask for another personal statement.
I didn't need to provide a new one. I changed subject within the life sciences though (marine biology to biomedical science).
