Pip

Hello, we are having trouble with my daughters second year finance we sent all relevant documents. (Pip entitlement letter from 2021 which states 'for an ongoing period' which means for life' and pip yearly report letter, plus even the blue badge in her name that runs out in 2026) To get the special support element, which she got fine last year. But been refused they stated that it doesn't mention that she's getting pip though the academic year. But again 'for an ongoing period' means life. She was born with spina-bifida and is a full time wheelchair user with bowel and bladder problems. I'm at my wits end trying to get this sorted especially considering everything went though fine last year. Please could you help, as contacting them by phone hasn't helped.

Hi there. In this case, if the letter the student provides confirms PIP is ongoing or indefinite and the academic year is within 10 years of the date on the letter we will not require any additional evidence.
