EPQ topics

Guys! I need help. Basically, I wanna do my epq on forensics and maybe crime but can I do it if I do chemistry a level since we are not allowed to do the epq on the subjects that we picked?

Also, what if I want to do it on astronomy and like the bing bang and history of the universe but I do physics a level. I am really passionate about space but I know that the physics a level spec has astrophysics on it.🥲😪 So i dunno if its allowed.

P. S. Sorry about the grammar mistakes but I am too lazy to correct them

Unless it's part of the specification, you can do it.
I did mine about the significance of burnout on NHS staff while doing A-Level psychology, I had to be cautious to remain on burnout and not write about anything I learnt, such as depression and OCD.
You'd have to be immensely careful if you do forensics while doing chemistry, since I know in my specification there was some mentions to technology being used for forensics. Tiny, but could void your EPQ completely. Definitely mitigate your risks, consult the specifications, and go on from there.

Thank you so much! I'll definitely ask my 6th form more about it and do some more research.
