Can I apply through clearing even if I've firmed and insured my offers?

I've already accepted a firm offer from one university and an insurance offer from another. I'm now browsing Clearing and seeing some interesting options. If I apply through Clearing and get rejected, will my firm and insurance offers still be valid?

You need a clearing number which you can't get when you are holding offers.

no you cant be holding another offer to enter clearing. You have to give them up first.

I've been waiting like 2 weeks for my firm to confirm them, however my insurance pick has received proof of results and changed it to an unconditional.

What is your Firm choice waiting for - have you sent them your results, have you phoned them?

You can, I’ve just done this. The first step of clearing is calling the hotlines and you can do this before rejecting your other offers. They’ll probably either reject you on the spot or offer you a place. When I got offered a place I rejected my other offers on ucas and I was put straight into clearing, then you can just add your new choice.

Which university made you this offer. They need to be reported to UCAS and removed from their list of universities for breaking UCAS rules. Others actually stick to their rules. Maybe this university is so desperate for numbers it is doing this.

Four different unis did. It didn’t seem to be an issue as I wasn’t accepting their offer on the spot.
OP It’s worth calling the hotlines anyway to see if they’d at least consider you before rejecting your firm and insurance. You don’t have to actually apply then and there.
Which 4 so they can be reported. Dont just make statements back it up.
