Summer Before Vet School

Hi!
All being well on A level results day, I should be heading to vet school in September! I was just wondering if there was anything in particular I could do to prepare? I was thinking of revising some A level biology topics (I had to resit chem, so haven't done a lot of biology in the last year), but also wondered if there were any topics covered in first year that I could get ahead with by doing some research?

I saw an old forum saying that it's best to just relax, or to maybe do something like an anatomy colouring book as a fun way to get started (in that case, I've heard good things about the Saunders book?).

I'm just a bit torn as to whether I should be studying or relaxing lol.

Thank you!!

Relax- it will be the last holiday you get to relax in 5 years as you will be doing EMS placements each year. The Saunders vet anatomy book is good. At my daughter’s uni they did a refresher couple of weeks on Biology and Chemistry when they started to check everyone had the basic knowledge.

Relax so you are the best physical state to launch into uni. If you can find a job to earn a few pennies that might help. Otherwise maybe learn to drive if you haven't already.
