Should I negotiate my salary or am I just being greedy?
I am currently doing my masters and due to finish soon. I recently got a job offer as a clinical research assistant. I have a few research experience but it was majority non-clinical and this job will be my first proper job after graduating.
The salary that was offereed to me (£37k) is at the lower end of the salary range on the application (£37-£39k). Should I just accept this offer or is it worth me negotiating a 2k or even 1k raise.
I am very lucky, in that I only applied to three jobs before getting this offer. So I really don’t want to mess up this opportunity.

If this is a job in a public sector organisation like a university then it’s likely policy that all job offers are at the bottom of the pay scale unless a candidate has substantial experience. Normally your pay will increase up the scale annually.
