Trainee Paramedic - DR10

Hi all,

I was convicted of DR10 back in August 2020, I would like to further my career within the NHS and would like to apply for the Trainee Paramedic position.

Has anybody had any experience as to if this is a possible career path for somebody with a DR10?

I have to declare this to insurance for another year, but have 0 penalty points on my license.

I understand that I will have to declare my conviction for another 7 years to employers, but would like to know if it’s worth putting myself through my C1 test before applying for the position in 2025, and if there is any hope that this career is still possible.
