Child nursing Bsc - City vs Greenwich

Hi everyone!

Long story short, I've been studying at KCL doing Neuroscience and psych, decided to do child nursing again. It was too late to do a UCAS application for KCL, and they said on email that it was I would need to apply next time, they don't have clearing either.

I've just decided to consider City or Greenwich for a Sep 24 start. It seems City is higher on the league tables (which I know don't mean much) and I'm assuming City has placements at bigger hospitals in more central London.

Only Greenwich has far higher student satisfaction by about double, and maybe being at smaller hospitals (it says placements in South East London and Kent) would be better?

Or I'm thinking do I just wait another year and try for KCL?

Anyone have any opinions?? I have an interview for Greenwich next week so any tips for that would be amazing!

It doesn't matter where you study nursing. All courses approved by the NMC will be of the same standard and the NHS won't care where you studied. Choose a course that will suit you in terms of placements and uni facilities.

That's really comforting to hear thank you! What uni facilities would you say are good to look for nursing specifically ?

There are some tips here:

Make sure you know the NMC code and the NHS values. Good luck. :crossedf:
