transferring from music to youth work

Hi, I have just completed the 2nd year of a degree in music and I have decided I would like to change to youthwork. I'm hoping the bonus year of grant money will allow me repeat a level 5 again but in a different subject. I studied youthwork a decade ago and completed a level 3 diploma (not awarded...long story). How likely is it that I could transfer to the start of 2nd year in a different uni? They are both bachelor of arts degrees. I am a mature student and also have life relevant experience for youth work. I feel I've got all I can from the music and now I want to share it if anything, and not waste my last bit of funding available.
I have taken an interruption year to decide, I'm also thinking I could try and do a level 2 or 3 or 4 youth diploma during the year (or maybe 2), maybe on an apprentice or some short courses that are relevant.
How likely is it I could do this transfer please? Anything that could help, thanks a lot x

Switching from music to youthwork is like changing your key signature mid-performance—challenging but definitely doable! With your determination and life experience, I'd say you're ready to hit all the right notes in your new degree. Best of luck with the transfer—I'm rooting for you

If you have already done 2 years of a degree, remember that you only get 1 gift year.
How are you going to fund the missing year?

Thank you, you seem pretty 'in tune' with this process, very encouraging, cheers I'll go for it
