Question for guys!

Okay, so I'm asexual, and I don't want to explain it fully but in simple terms I'm not interested in sex. I recently saw an asexual girl get a lot of hate online for dating a non-asexual, mostly from men; saying she should be grovelling to him because of the sacrifice he made, that she was a monster for not having sex with him, they are basically just friends then, etc. I do still love romantically, and I thought that was the only important part, so I was surprised to see these comments. So here's my question for non-asexual guys: could you ever date an asexual knowing that you might only have sex in order to reproduce, or that your partner wouldn't enjoy it at all?

Yes. Sex is something that all involved parties should enjoy, if you know that the other would not get enjoyment form it, there is no point in doing it as it would be purely selfish to continue. I would have a relationship with an a-sexual individual because it isn't all about sex. While many would see a sexless relationship as disadvantageous, to me, the happiness and comfort of my partner is more important. Always pick someone who is selfless! Hope this helps

Well, this makes me feel a lot better because while dating an asexual guy would be great and all, I've never met one.
