Anyone got an unconditional offer for Nursing at UoB

Hi, just wondered if anyone out there has received an unconditional offer for Nursing yet from University of Birmingham. I believe I had met all the requirements of my conditional offer last month, but still haven't received an unconditional offer. Starting to really worry now 😞

No, not phoned, but emailed. They requested for me to send my certificates over which I've done. Just wondered if anyone else was having progress ?

How long ago did you email the certificates?

I emailed them 3/7 asking if they needed my certificates or if UCAS notified them directly as although I had my official results 26/6, there were no updates. They emailed back requesting them 9/7 and I sent them over that same day. I've handed my notice in at work as I have to give 12 weeks which is why I'm probably stressing too.

Phone them tomorrow am - they will be able to tell you if they have your results, and what the timeline is for confirming your place.

I received an email acknowledging they had received my results and were forwarding to the relevant department. I think I will call tomorrow though just to double check if I've missed something off the non-academic requirements, although I'm convinced I have completed everything. Thanks for your advice.

Any luck , going same uni but different course , all conditional requests sent but no unconditional offer yet , think there is a back log

Hi, unfortunately not. I haven't rang yet as I've had an email acknowledging my results and don't want to be a nuisance. I will wait for the 15 days to lapse since sending my results over as this length of time is advised on their website. This will take me up to the 24th, then I will chase. How long have you been waiting for ?

I sent off DBS in June , everything else was sent before that , I rang a couple of times and they said backlog in DBS is causing delays.

My DBS was applied for through the Uni. I received it in the post the beginning of June. I emailed the Uni informing them I had received it and did I need to forward a copy. However, they informed me the DBS team would be notified directly.
