Help with student finance PN1 form

Hello, I am completing pn1 form. In the form they asking for my parent’s customer reference number. But they don’t have one. What do I do? I have another question, I am applying as a child of EEA migrant worker. My dad is an Italian national. He is working in a zero hour contract. In his employment contract, it does not specify the his contracted hour and hourly rate of pay. He has got all the payslips and a p60. Please let me know what should I do in this case. Thanks

Hi Kheya,

If the contract does not detail the hours or rate of pay, we would require a letter from the employer to confirm this. If your parents do not have an account yet and have no Customer Reference Number, you would leave that blank. Once the document is processed, your parents would automatically be allocated with a new account each and will receive login details so they can have access to their new online account.

Hello, is there any fee we have to pay? In the form it says to pay the correct postage

Hi Kheya,

No, there is no feed to apply however, you may need to pay for stamp or postage as you are posting the form but it is your decision how you wish to send this.

Thanks, Clare

Hi there, no. It does state on that screenshot not to include the student in that section so you wouldn't put your details down. Thanks, Jason

That's not a problem, don't worry - we'll fix that ourselves.

IMG_7711.png Hello, I got this two emails today. Do I have to send only my dad’s passport or my mom’s as well? I have applied as a family member of EEA worker. My dad works at the moment and my mom is unemployed. Also what should I write for the letter? Please let me know. Thanks

Also it says handwritten. So do I have to physically write it or type in the laptop then print it. I am so confused at the moment. Please let me know

Hi there,

The residency part would be hand written.

If you're applying as a Child of Migrant Worker, then it would be the parent who you've chosen to send the employment evidence for. If it's your Father you're using then it would be his documents.

Thanks,
Ross

Can you tell when will they return the passport? How long is it going to take? Also do I have to send a return label and envelope as well for the return of the passport with the letter and the passport? Or student finance will return the passport on their own?

Hi Kheya,

It is currently taking around 16 working days to process ID evidence. We will return the passport without you providing this.

Thanks,
Calum

image.jpgCan you have a look at the letter I have written. Is the letter ok?

Hi Kheya,

The letter looks fine but we're not assessor so the the team will need to review this once received, and they will confirm if its been accepted or not.

I would also suggest removing the photo of your details for security, as the page is public and anyone can see it.

Thanks,
Claire

Can you remove that as well? I cannot remove your reply. Thanks

Hi Kheya,

It appears that the attachment has been deleted so the letter will no longer be visible to anyone.

Hello, student finance has asked me to submit evidence for my marital status. I am currently separated and applied for divorce. But not divorced yet. In the form I told that I am separated. Now they are asking me to give evidence. There’s only two option available for the evidence. Decree nisi or conditional order. I haven’t got any of this. What do I do now? Please let me know

Hi Kheya,

Is it the Marital Status Form that you've been sent? Or, have you not received this yet?

Thanks, Graeme
