Hi want know if from 2025 people with (adult)limited live to remain will also be eligible for the student finance?without been in the uk half of their life.

eligibility is set by government legislation.

UKCISA have information on their website about the current legislation.
They also run a student advice line at limited times where they can offer more advice on legislation and how it applies to you.

SFE staff don't have any influence on government legislation - they just apply the regulations as set by the government.

Hi Hssien,

Currently for 24/25 you wouldn't be eligible unless you have Indefinite Leave to remain, settled status, long residency (half your life or 20 years in the UK if you are over 18). There are other exceptions to this but limited leave to remain isn't one of those. The criteria for 25/26 is not yet confirmed, however it would update on Gov.uk if anything were to change in regards to residency eligibility.
