Can clearing unis see my extenuating circumstances on my UCAS form?

I am considering declining my firm uni offer and releasing myself into clearing and applying to a different course, as I have changed my mind about what uni I want to go to. Will the new uni still be able to see the extenuating circumstances my tutor wrote up for my UCAS application? I think I might miss my grades slightly so I want to make sure they can see the reasons.
Hi,

I will have a look into this for you and come back shortly with an answer!

Hi,

So from what I have gathered yeah they should still be able to see extenuating circumstances, and it can always be requested if there are any issues!

Hope this was helpful.

Where the circumstances included in your original UCAS reference?

Clearing universities will be able to see your reference (as it was at the time of applying). Anything sent to universities after submitting your application will not be visible to clearing universities and will need to be resent.

Generally a clearing choice will only be interested in whether you meet the clearing requirements or not, (not whether you met your predictions).

When you refer an application to them via UCAS, they'll be able to see all the info your ref provided.

Just remember that you cannot do anything about Clearing until you have your results.
