Masters in Germany!

Hi all,

I've been seriously considering pursuing a Master's degree in Europe, specifically in Germany. I'm currently a rising 3rd-year student studying Mathematics and Physics at the University of Bath. The idea of moving to Germany has always appealed to me. I have a strong interest in the culture and a comfortable grasp of the language, with an A2 certificate in German.

For those of you who have studied abroad or in Germany, I'd love to hear about your experiences. What was the application process like for you? Are there any crucial pieces of advice or important things to keep in mind?

Additionally, I'm curious about how obtaining a Master's degree abroad, particularly in Germany, might affect my future career prospects compared to completing a Master's in the UK.

Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

What do you want to do in the future and in which country do you want to live and work?

I'm not completely sure yet, as I'm still exploring different industries like Data and AI, IT consultancies, Finance, and Energy. I hope to live and work in Germany in the future, with the UK as a second option.
