Hey. Just wondering if anyone knows how competitive the scheme is? Do they prefer certain degrees etc?

Hey from what I've gathered it is very competitive but I can't give figures, the scheme seems to be getting more popular as the years go by. I don't think degree matters as along as it's completed by summer !

Hi all, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's thinking so far ahead lol. I'm hoping over the next month or two they'll start posting more information related to cohort 27.

I've seen on the website that you need at least a 2:2. Also, even if you have graduated a few years prior, as long as you have a degree you can apply for it.

Has anyone completed the SJT and how did you find it ?

I sat it in October, I found it quite straightforward. Can’t really remember the questions now but I was worried they would be challenging and they weren’t.

There seems to be council specific roles and a general (area-non-specific) role that you can apply for. What do i do??

Has anyone had a response back if they were successful at the SJ test? I know my email said by the 16th January.
