Successful! So happy. Congratulations to those who passed and those who didn’t, well done for doing your best! Don’t let this be a setback

I've gotten through. A little concerned though as I had a holiday booked long before this and it falls right in the middle :/

Hopefully the councils allow some flexibility

i think me and a lot of other people have final university exams smack bang when they are meant to be! for that reason, i assume they are used to offering flexibility, as they must have this problem every year?? hopefully so at least, congratulations!

I did my assessment centre from Canada so I am sure you can do an interview from your holiday destination

You can login from phone, I used my email.

Can anyone remember if it was the case that councils can still subscribe until mid this month?

The selection isn't as broad as I'd hoped although I suspect the listed examples on 'partner councils' webpage is a compilation of previous years.

If you click on ‘choose your council preferences’ and click as if you’re going to select your choices, the drop down should show all the councils you could choose

Ah yes i am. Hopefully it sorts itself in coming days

Anyone know how many people got to interview stage? Seems risky to apply for a council that is only hiring 1 or 2 trainees, especially if that’s the only interview you get

Just figured it out. When i went into a previous email with a direct link i could then get into that!

Anyone know if you get more than one interview? I live in Manchester and there is only one participating council, hiring 3 people, I’d imagine this one will be popular. I’m just wondering if it would be better to put my preference for one of the smaller councils in the North West and better my chances?

I think the amount of people they interview reflect the amount they’re taking on, so a council taking for example 2 candidates will have fewer interviews than a council taking on 4+

Depending on your score at the AC, you usually get 1 or 2 interviews

Didn't expect the personal statement ontop :')

i thought that too, but its essentially like a CV for normal interviews, and will be the only thing the council interviewees will have on hand, so think of it as a supplement to that instead of a traditional personal statement. also, the question could be a hint of whats to come too
