they split the questions between the panel members in my interview! most of my attention was directed on the individual who asked the question, occasionally addressing everyone every so often.

mine was the same! i had felt so nervous about so many people but actually it was very relaxed, they very consciously moved between who was asking questions so it was clear who to address

Just had my interview! It was very relaxed, was supposed to last 45 minutes but it was finished within 20, so a bit worried about that maybe my answers weren't long enough. Anyone experience the same or not?

Just had my interview with Sefton Council 😊
Feeling pretty confident, had prepared for the exact questions which came up

for anyone who had an interview at Ealing council, did you also get told we could find out next week?

Reply 604

Done my interview. Went well 😊 it seemed to be short from question perspective but I asked lots of discussion based qs after so that was great to see the conversation from that point. Best of luck everyone!

I got told this at my council (not ealing) but are they allowed to announce it to us before the LGA officially does/ before 4th June?

that's so interesting! gosh i really wished they standardised the process across councils

just had my interview and didn't feel very well. there was silence for a few seconds after answering each question and then someone on the panel just quickly moved on to the next question without any interaction. not sure if that’s just their style, but it made me a bit nervous.

mine was super similar! i think sometimes they have to stick to quite a close list of questions (i think for fairness?), i'm trying not to worry about it too much

I wouldn't worry about this! Remember that they're all taking notes too, as they need something to refer back to when they make their decision. They probably were just trying to make sure they got it all down

haha i really hope it's not that late for us. supposedly 20th is the latest. on my portal under my council it's changed to 'application update' which i would guess means the council has already submitted their decision, praying that means a quick turnaround!

does that mean councils wont email us the outcomes but rather we would have to wait for the official announcement?

How many positions were there per candidates for the council everyone interviewed at?
