Would you expect travel costs refunded / is this something you anticipated they’d do? I hadn’t thought about that at all but now you mention it I spent nearly £100 on return trains to my interview so if it’s something you know they offer I’d definitely think about asking, especially as I got rejected

They said they would and took receipts

I contacted Impact and they said councils should be in contact by Friday at the latest, and to follow up with Impact on Monday if you haven’t heard and they’ll chase the council.

My council (st Albans) have reached out to me this morning. They said I’ll get my formal letter and contract etc next week as well as doing pre-employment checks.

If anybody is interested and wasn’t successful Breckland Council near me have six grad jobs out separate to this scheme. Less money but they’re in good areas!
