Can not get past uploading UK passport details but asked for evidence over email

Hello,

I applied for a postgraduate loan for this upcoming year. Everything seemed to be going fine, but I got an email within the last week asking me to add supporting evidence. However, I can not get past uploading my UK passport details into the application (I think I have done it about six times at this point, hoping it would just disappear). I have been on two separate phone calls regarding the issue but no one has given me anything that would work.

I don't really know what to do, as the original copies of the evidence are not with me. It will take a lot longer to retrieve them, and I will most likely miss the ability to get a loan for the start of my course.

Please let me know what I can do!

Hi saunger,

If you have a valid UK passport, normally you would just put the details on the application, the only instance that we would ask for a UK passport to be sent would be if we couldn't validate the details with HMPO or if there is a discrepancy with your name or DOB. When you spoke to the 2 advisers, can you confirm if they indicated that the passport is required or why it has been requested?

They said over the phone that the passport was confirmed, but the website would never let me get past the uploading of the information.

Hi there,

If you are a postgraduate student you cannot upload evidence. When you spoke to the other advisors what did they advise you to do and what evidence was actually required?

Hello,

The only evidence that was asked via the email was my employment contracts as I worked during my undergraduate degree but I did my undergraduate in CA (British citizen) so they needed evidence to see that.
But then over the phone, the spokesperson told me to send everything in via mail including original documents that I do not have on me currently and that they needed to check my eligibility again.

Any evidence that has been requested for your recent undergraduate application, you can upload that. Any evidence for your Postgraduate Loan application, must be posted.
