Try asking in this year's DR applicants thread:

Honestly I haven't, sort of the reason I thought I'd message on here. Do u know how many days a week we would be expected to attend uni when we are not on clinical placement ? I'm trying to seee if I can balance working and studying and if study days fixed, if they aren't fixed I'd have to stop working completely. Also have you applied for student finance and nhs learners support fund yet ?

Yes, i was also accepted for Jan 25 but have declined the offer and decided to have a break from studying . Will give me a chance to continue working and save some money. I calculated that NHS bursary wouldn't support me financially through the course, i wouldnt be able to continue working as placements are 40plus hours a week and studying is I think full time whilst in uni. I haven't been able to clarify this with the uni though.

Hi those who applied this year - I'm struggling to find my copies of my GCSE qualifications due to my school being demolished over 10 years ago now. Did you need to provide proof of your GCSEs when you applied?

I cant remember now, but FYI- if you know your exam board you can contact them directly and itll be on their system and you'll have to pay for them but one of my friends who applied for a diffeernt course and diff uni in your situation contacted the exam board and explained the situation and didn't want to pay for their new certificates, got an email address from the exam board and passed this onto the uni who then confirmed their grades that way I'm not sure though if liverpool would do the same. But for future job applications and study it's best to pay for your certificates again as you'll need them.

Thanks I've tried this route, it was over 15 years ago so I've got no idea what exam board it was so I've been tearing my hair out, but I think they're gone :frown:

Hi,
it will most likley be the major exam boards as indicated in the link below, if u havent already just contact every single exam board and see what they say if not im sure the uni at their own discretion along you meet the Alevel and degree requirement should be okay, sorry I cant give u a definitive answer regarding if they asked for gcse I applied a while back and have forgotten.

Hi, is this for diagnostic radiography MSc, I’ve not heard anything back as of yet but I would be in the same position as you cause I don’t have my GCSE either I did them over 5 years ago.surely it shouldn’t be an issues it’s just to have it documented. Also Would you let me know when they emailed you please

Hi Exam certificates are a legal document so the examining board will hold a copy for many years and are still traceable if the examining body no longer operates. OCR AQA and Edexcel are the ones on my certificates. Good Luck.

Thanks, but did you upload your GCSE certificates/transcripts as proof of education during your application process? This is likely going to be lengthy and expensive based on my research of what I need to do if I can't contact my school to find out which exam board was used for each subject, so I want to know if it will be truly necessary before I go down this road. Crazy that there's even a GCSE criteria when it's an MSc.

Email the exam boards with details of your name, dob, school name and address, subjects and month and year when you sat the exams. You should be able to get a certified statement of results:

Not meeting the GCSE requirements is the quickest way to be rejected from a course.

I was made a conditional offer and had to upload the certificates for A level, and GCSE
