SaLT UEA questions?

Hi,
I am hoping to study Speech and Language therapy at UEA in Sept but I wondered if someone currently studying could tell me what their timetable for this past year has been? I understand the new ones aren’t out yet - I have asked timetabling/student services and the course leaders. I would just like a guide to contact hours as I will be travelling and working too.

Alternatively OT course timetable would be good as I believe they are similar?

You'll need to wait as there's no guarantee next year's will be similar.

So glad to hear you are aiming to study at UEA, especially with such an interesting course. Although I am not a Speech and Language student I can suggest reaching out to our current students via Unibuddy.

If you go to this link here https://www.uea.ac.uk/ask-us and then type in your course. You will then be able to chat to one of our students and ask what their timetable looked like 😊

I'm also going to study speech and language therapy in September.🙂 It's hard to find examples because it varies a lot.

I went to some open days to learn about the course, and from what I was told... typically 3-4 days a week will include in-person classes. This could be lectures, seminars, small group work. And 1-2 days will be online/independent learning.

Hi, I wondered if you would be able to let me know how many hours per weeks you study from home, online, reading or for assignments? I understand from looking at the UEA SALT page it around 2.5 days on campus learning?

Would anyone who does the course be able to yet me know, I am hoping to work full time still but not sure if I would be stretching myself to far?
