What to get up to this summer to prepare for university

Hi guys,
summer is a fantastic chance to get to grips with what you will need to start university with.
A few things I’d get ready are:
Your understanding of what public transport you may need to get to lectures. Do you need to get a bus pass? Do you need a railcard?
Figuring out a weekly budget for university. How much can you spend on shopping, days out, treats and transport?
Do have all the skills you need to move out? Can you use a washing machine? Can you cook a balanced meal?
