Clearing

Just finished my A Levels, and I've applied to Glasgow to study Psychology. Say I don't get the grades to go to Glasgow (my firm choice) but I get into Keele(my insurance) but I really want to go to Glasgow uni , can I reapply to Glasgow via clearing, and do a foundation course in the same course in this is case Psychology?

How does it work ?like can I do that and how does doing a foundation course work?

Hi @uounWSUHVD

You can apply to any course through Clearing if you withdraw from your firm choice on UCAS once you have been made a provisional offer. You won't be able to accept a Clearing offer unless you have withdrawn from previous university offers.

To learn more about what Glasgow offers in Psychology, I recommend going to their website. A foundation year usually lasts just one year, and then you can usually progress onto the undergraduate degree. The University of Glasgow has an admissions team that you can contact, and they should be able to help answer your questions.

Best of luck, and have a great summer
