Thoughts on Leeds shared housing

I received my accommodation offer from Leeds today with it being in shared housing in September 2024. While I did request for this I'm not really happy with my offer since my room is pretty small compared to the others plus I didn't get an en-suite like I hoped for since I didn't realise that only one of the houses actually has en-suite rooms. I found some private accommodation which I'm more tempted to go for as while it's a little more expensive I get a nicer room plus an en-suit. So for anyone who stayed in the shared houses at Leeds are worth staying in even without an en-suit or should I look somewhere else?

I just received my accommodation offer from Leeds today and it's the shared house as well. I don't even know where to start in order to find decent and affordable private accommodation before the start of the semester.

I had the same happen to me today, I declined my offer and I'm now staying private at Marsden House
