According to UCAS (here), using data from 2019 to 2023, 4 out of 5 applicants receive an offer.

Also, although they ask for AAA, 67% of students who go on to achieve ABB are accepted. (That percentage increases to 100% for those students achieving AAB.)

Does that answer your question?

(Edited to add that those stats are for the four-year "with a year in industry" version of the course.)

My offer stands at AAB, but it says I need to get an A in maths and chemistry however, I feel like i got a B for maths, I also have an A* in EPQ, does this make any difference in their choice of accepting me?

Well, Birmingham say here that, "applicants who take the EPQ and meet our offer criteria will be made the standard offer for their course, plus an alternative offer which will be one grade lower plus a grade A in the EPQ." So that's presumably why you received an AAB offer (when their standard requirements are AAA). It seems unlikely that you would benefit from the EPQ again when it come to making place confirmation decisions on results day.

Whether they opt to confirm your place or not (should you just miss your offer) will simply depend on how many places they have left after confirming the place of offer-holders who have met their offer. Unfortunately, there is not way to tell how many such offer-holders (and hence such "spare" places) there will be.
