Laet Crisis

Am just going to be straight forward. I have been wanting to go to laet for quite a while. I didn't get a conditional offer but was able to get an invitation on results day if my grades "lived up to there standards". But I just want to know before I do the wrong thing. I live 1h and 47mins away and don't mind the travel but please someone tell me the real truth about the school before I go. Not that any near me is better (there very much getto) but I don't want to waste my time.

I got mine based on the fact I was freeschool meals but as long as you have applied for the school. Either if you got a conditional offer or not they would invite you .

In terms of location people at my school (LAET) travel from as far as Brixton and honestly it is a very good school which will support you to attain A/A* in your results. Happy to answer any questions.

Thank you for answering! I don't know why I said the schools near me are "ghetto" there literally charters and private schools. But I just want to know if is hard to commit with getting up early and going to school? Since I have the opportunity to go charter east Dulwich and is a walk distance I was unsure about the committment of coming to school everyday. Also, is Tottenham bad? As in the area? I live in a "posh" area so the change is going to be different.

i’d say it’s not awful (defo not the best though😭). i mean the football stadium attracts all kinda stuff anyway, but coming from somewhere posh it’ll be… different ig lol
