PPE-LSE

I want to do PPE next year but not to keen on the LSE course being 4 years long. Would probably apply for Economics and politics there instead. Seeing as the lse personal statement is very important has anyone been able to get in with a personal statement tailored to ppe and econ+pol?

Hey- I think your chances of success w lse will be much lower without a personal statement that directly relates to the course. 4 years seems long but if I was you i’d have a look at the LSE ppe course- it’s super interesting and the only ppe course which provides specific interdisciplinary courses as opposed to separating all 3 subjects. if you also look onto the program structure pages the philosophy modules are super interesting, so if this is something you’re into you may feel like you’re missing out! you can also take a year abroad in countries like the US and France for your third year. In the scheme of things 4 years esp w a year abroad isn’t that long and is the same length as degrees in America, Scotland and languge degrees.
