Business management

Does a degree have to be accredited for it to be worth something? I aim to study a Ba business management degree however it isn’t accredited.

All degrees in the UK are accredited by the specific universities. The only degrees that require additional accreditation are degrees that are attached to a professional body e.g Architecture (RIBA), Biomedical science (IBMS), Computer science (BCS). Business Management is not one of the degrees that requires extra accreditation unless you are looking for a business management degree that gives you part of a professional qualification e.g for the Accountancy pathway you might want to see if ACCA, accredits some of your modules. This means once you graduate and embark on your professional study to become a fully chartered accountant, your degree will get you some exemptions from exams. Otherwise no accreditation other than what the university gives is required.
