Salaam @aleenahbee

I am a current student at the university, one of many Muslim students at the university. The campus is so diverse with a large number of Muslim girls so I'm pretty sure there's many Diagnostic Radiography Muslim girls 🙂

Just wanted to reassure you on that and please let me know if you have any concerns or any other questions! 🙂

Hi @use34556

Happy to hear you are considering University Leicester through Clearing!

Interviews can be exciting, they're a great chance to show your enthusiasm and suitability for the course. To prepare, ensure you understand the role of a Diagnostic Radiographer, including the imaging techniques and the importance of patient care. Reflect on any relevant experiences—like work or volunteering—that demonstrate skills such as teamwork, communication, or problem-solving, and be ready to discuss how these have prepared you for this career.

It's also important to articulate why you're passionate about radiography and why you've chosen this career path. Familiarizing yourself with our course structure and unique opportunities that Leicester has which can help you stand out, as it shows you’ve done your research.

Common interview questions might include why you want to study Diagnostic Radiography, how you handle stress, or examples of effective teamwork. And don’t forget, this is also your chance to ask questions about the course, placements, or how we support your professional development.

Stay calm, be yourself, and show your genuine interest in the field. Good luck, and if you need more help, we're here for you!

Best wishes,
