Studying Dentistry in Georgia 🇬🇪

Hi , I’m a student in the UK seriously considering applying to a uni in Georgia to study dentistry. Either New Vision University or Caucasus Uni. But I still have a lot of questions before I can fully commit to it and there’s not much information out there so if any current student or potential students can answer these id really appreciate it.

1)How much is the average monthly cost of living in Georgia not including rent or tuition fees?
2) Are accommodations provided by the University or do you have to get it privately?
3) How much do accommodations cost roughly?
4)is clinical training provided by the uni or do u have to go out and find your own patients to practice on?
5) do you have to learn the language ?
6) which university is better to apply to New Vision or Caucasus uni?
7) How good is the Muslim community in Georgia or if there is one ?
8) is it difficult to get a job in the UK after finishing the degree in Georgia?

Hey there, do NOT go to georgia if you are planning to work in the uk as a dentist

I have a whole channel on youtube with a recent video dedicated to this

you will struggle massively with the ORE exam after and they set you up with all these promises of how great the university is and that it is gdc approved...they're not telling you the whole truth

i went from ukraine, to egypt to slovakia now and i wish i had just started the whole thing in slovakia. here to help if you need any advice but i can't stress enough to stay AWAY from georgia

I see your point , but is it really that difficult to pass the ORE, i know it’s difficult but not impossible right?
But i guess i can consider Slovakia as well, did u apply through an agency? What’s the tuitions fees and average living cost in Slovakia ? Are you provided clinical training? What university in Slovakia do you go to? And do you not have to do the ORE at all if you study in Slovakia??

There's a handful of countries that mean you skip ore

Is it hard? Hell yeah
How long does it take
3-4 years on average
Those 3 years let's say you're not working dentistry so you lose a lot plus potential earnings
Plus the ORE seats are limited and highly competitive

I'm at UPJS in Slovakia
I know a couple agencies yes but feel free to ask me anything first

Tuition is 13k euros
Sounds a lot
But worth it
Yes clinical with patients
Message me whenever

Also living costs I spend about £50 a week includes one day eating out the rest pretty much just cooking at home

Rent about 300-400 euros a month including bills

But the main thing you will need to know is this money you think you'll be wasting on tuition fee will be worth it trust me

No need to sit the ORE.
No need to find your own patients like you do in some other countries

Hey there, what details would you like? There are a bunch of EU countries that are exempt from sitting the ORE, if you drop me a PM i can share a link to a youtube video that outlines all the countries in this list

I can't send the link here because it will get flagged

It's definitely worth skipping the ORE
